Far Land Logistics

By accessing or using the services of Far Land Logistics, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, including our Privacy Policy outlined below.

1. Services Provided

Far Land Logistics provides international logistics, freight forwarding, shipping, sourcing assistance, consolidation, door-to-door delivery, express services, and related logistics solutions from overseas locations to Jamaica.

2. Account Registration

  • Registration is free.

  • Customers must provide accurate and truthful information.

  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false, misleading, or fraudulent information.

3. Shipping Process

Customers ship items to their assigned overseas address. Once packages arrive at our warehouse, they are processed and prepared for shipment to Jamaica. Delivery or pickup notifications are sent via email, WhatsApp, or other communication channels.

4. Shipping Fees & Charges

Shipping costs are calculated based on actual weight or volumetric weight, whichever is greater, and the selected shipping method (air, sea, express, door-to-door). All charges must be paid in full before delivery or release of packages.

5. Customs Duties & Taxes

Customs fees apply to packages valued at USD $100 or more, in accordance with Jamaican customs regulations. Customers are responsible for all applicable duties, taxes, and clearance fees.

6. Restricted & Prohibited Items

Prohibited items include but are not limited to: weapons, toy guns, ammunition, pepper spray, explosives, fireworks, lighters, matches, radar detectors, unprocessed meat, live animals, cash, camouflage items, and any illegal goods under U.S. or Jamaican law.

Far Land Logistics reserves the right to refuse, surrender, or dispose of prohibited items without liability.

7. Warehouse Handling & Storage

Packages must be collected within 21 days of arrival at the Jamaica warehouse. Weekend and holiday deliveries are processed on the next business day.

8. Abandoned Packages

Packages not collected within 21 days, refused for payment, or left unclaimed after repeated contact attempts will be considered abandoned. Far Land Logistics reserves the right to sell, dispose of, or otherwise handle abandoned packages to recover costs.

No refunds or compensation will be issued. Accounts associated with abandoned packages may be permanently blocked.

9. Assisted Online Shopping

Far Land Logistics may assist customers with online purchases upon request. Customers must provide full details and required funds in advance. Far Land Logistics is not responsible for merchant errors, defects, or incorrect orders.

10. Delivery & Pickup

Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary due to customs, weather, carrier delays, or external factors. Far Land Logistics is not responsible for delays caused by third-party service providers or authorities.

11. Liability & Insurance

Far Land Logistics is not liable for loss, damage, or delays caused by circumstances beyond our control. Customers are encouraged to request insurance for high-value shipments. Liability, where applicable, is limited to the declared shipment value.

12. Customer Responsibilities

Customers agree to:

  • Provide accurate shipment details

  • Comply with all laws and regulations

  • Pay all fees promptly

  • Not ship prohibited items

13. Right to Refuse Service

Far Land Logistics reserves the right to refuse service to any customer who violates these Terms & Conditions or misuses our services.

14. Privacy Policy

Far Land Logistics is committed to protecting your privacy and personal information.

Information We Collect:

  • Name, email, phone number

  • Address and shipping details

  • Account and transaction information

  • Communication records (email, WhatsApp, support messages)

How We Use Your Information:

  • To provide logistics and shipping services

  • To process shipments and deliveries

  • To communicate updates and notifications

  • To provide customer support

  • To send service-related information and promotions (with consent)

Data Protection:

We implement reasonable security measures to protect customer information from unauthorized access, misuse, or disclosure.

Data Sharing:

Customer information is never sold. Data may only be shared with:

  • Customs authorities

  • Shipping partners

  • Delivery providers

  • Legal authorities where required by law

Communication Consent:

By using our services, you consent to receive service notifications via email, phone, and WhatsApp related to your shipments and account activity.

15. Changes to Terms & Privacy Policy

Far Land Logistics may update these Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any updates.

16. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Jamaica.
